Zephyr Adventures is dedicated to enhancing local and regional tourism by train to Truckee/Tahoe and back the same day!

We provide a round trip ticket to ride, the California Zephyr, departing reno a 8:37 a.m and returning to reno at 4:46p.m…which is over 6 hours of exploring, dining and shopping in the region. That is of course… if the train is on time; which is where the adventure comes in!

Zephyr Adventures offers you an opportunity to slow down and enjoy an old fashioned get away experience leaving your worries behind.

We provide all of the ground transportation in addition to the valuable “Ticket to Ride Guest Pass". Just show your Zephyr Adventures "Ticket To Ride Guest Pass" to any shuttle or bus service and you will be taken to the destination of your choice.

We offer both guided and self-guided tours for groups up to 40 people. In both cases, we will keep you updated regarding train times via real time messaging to your cell phone to insure you and your group are back at the truckee station for the Zephyr back to reno.

Your adventure begins when you make your reservation on line at www.zephyradventuresreno.com. At that time, you will be provided a reservation number and a printable Zephyr Adventures “Ticket To Ride Guest Pass" which will also be honored at participating merchants in Truckee and Tahoe City and the resorts at Squaw Valley and Northstar Tahoe.
